Bi- Monthly Meetings held with Upper Nursing Leadership

 If you have any issue in your area that needs to be addressed please  e-mail  the local @ uswlocal4.200@verizon.net  one can expect a response within 72 hour

 

The Nursing Contract is now online at the local’s website www.usw4-200.org . We are waiting for the printed version which will be mailed to your current address on file.

 

Holiday and Personal Time Balances are now on your pay stubs. The time will appear 30 days prior to its availability to be used. Your holiday and personal hours earned reflect your employee FTE status. The 7 Holidays recognized are Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Washington’s Birthday, Memorial Day,  Independence Day,  Labor Day and Thanksgiving Day. Each employee earns 3 personal days plus your birthday per year.  The birthday is included in the first pay stub and may be used anytime throughout the year.

 

Lifting Equipment has been provided to each department. Some units are using it and others are not.  We encourage ALL employees to use it EVERY time. Pat Avila spent hours organizing Central Supply Store Room to make it easier to obtain lifting equipment supplies.

 

Mammograms are available at the Plum Street University Radiology Facility as well numerous other University Facility, please verify each Facility.

 

Cell Phone and Face Book Alert- Any patient care issues should NEVER be posted as this is a HIPPA violation.              

 

Staff Meeting with a union representative are being arranged for January and should be posted on your unit.
